At R.K. Industries, safety is not a checklist — it's a
culture. As an ISO 45001-certified company, we maintain
rigorous occupational health and safety protocols that are
embedded into every process on our shop floor. Whether it’s
operating heavy hydraulic presses, handling high-speed CNC
machinery, or conducting high-precision inspections, our teams
are trained to work in controlled, monitored, and
well-equipped environments.
We believe that a safe workplace is a productive one — and
that protecting people is just as important as perfecting
products. From risk assessments to regular training, safety
drives every decision we make.
Committed to Workplace Safety
Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Policy
At R K Industries, we recognize that a safe workplace and a
protected environment are the foundations of responsible
manufacturing. Our Environmental, Occupational Health and
Safety (EOHS) Policy reflects our unwavering commitment to
safeguarding the well-being of our employees, minimizing our
environmental footprint, and ensuring compliance with national
and international standards. Through proactive planning,
continuous training, and a culture of accountability, we
strive to integrate EOHS principles into every aspect of our
operations.
R K Industries is committed to continually improve the
Environment, Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS)
Management System performance by:
Integrating EOHS considerations at the planning and
operational stages of our activities, products, and
services.
Complying with all applicable legal, other requirements,
and corporate guidelines.
Understanding the needs and expectations of interested
parties with respect to EOHS and complying with them as
appropriate.
Optimizing consumption of resources and promoting energy
conservation.
Educating and motivating our employees and subcontractors
to actively support safe and sustainable practices.
Focusing on the prevention of pollution, injury, and ill
health.
Enhancing awareness, skill, and competence of employees
through ongoing training and proactive communication.
Continually improving EOHS Management System performance
with focused efforts for the prevention of pollution,
occupational ill health, and incidents.
Safety Orientation
Training Every Hand Before It Touches a Machine
Every employee at R.K. Industries undergoes comprehensive
safety orientation before being allowed on the shop floor.
This includes understanding emergency protocols,
machine-specific risks, PPE requirements, and safe material
handling techniques. Whether you're a trainee or a technician,
you must demonstrate safety awareness through formal
assessments and practical trials. Safety begins on Day One —
and never stops evolving.
Pre-Operation Checks
Prevention Starts Before Production
Before every shift, our operators perform structured
pre-operation checks on machines, tools, and safety equipment.
This includes inspecting hydraulic press controls, CNC
interlocks, and ensuring all emergency stop systems are
functional. These steps reduce breakdowns, eliminate hazards,
and ensure the machinery performs within safe parameters.
Nothing runs unless everything is green-flagged.
PPE Compliance
Equipped to Stay Safe, Always
R.K. Industries enforces strict PPE policies across all zones.
Helmets, gloves, eye protection, anti-static footwear, and
noise-reducing gear are mandatory based on task type. Each PPE
kit is checked for wear and replaced periodically. Supervisors
ensure compliance before shift handover, and non-adherence is
immediately addressed. Safety gear is a uniform, not an
option.
Incident Response
Prepared for the Unexpected
Despite every precaution, preparedness matters. Our team is
trained in emergency protocols including fire response,
first-aid, and machine shutdown. Fire extinguishers and spill
kits are strategically placed, and mock drills are conducted
regularly. Every incident is logged and analyzed, with
preventive steps implemented immediately to eliminate
recurrence.
Maintenance & Safety Sync
Machines Are Safe Only When Maintained
Planned maintenance is at the core of machine safety. Our
maintenance team follows a calendar-based and usage-based
schedule for all critical machines like CNCs, VMCs, and
forging presses. Fault diagnostics, part replacements,
lubrication, and alignment checks are performed regularly to
keep operations smooth and hazards minimal.
Ongoing Improvement
Safety That Evolves With Us
At R.K. Industries, safety isn’t a one-time initiative — it’s
a continuously evolving system. We regularly conduct internal
safety audits, risk assessments, and cross-functional reviews
to identify new hazards, update protocols, and implement
corrective actions. Employee feedback, incident reports, and
third-party inspections drive meaningful improvements. By
embedding safety into our culture of operational excellence,
we ensure that as our capabilities grow, so does our
commitment to protecting every person on the floor.
